Institute Of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering - Gorakhpur (IAME) is the first & only one Institute of Eastern UP - India, is recognised by Director General Of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Ministry of Civil Aviation - Govt. Of India to impart AME training in both streams ie: Mechanical & Avionics Engineering. IMAE - Gorakhpur is Governed by Education And Social Welfare Society, Gorakhpur. At present, only few AME Institutes are available in India, which is approved by DGCA - Govt. Of India in both stream ie; Mechanical & Avionics Engineering and IAME - Gorakhpur is one of them. In India AMEs are earning highest salary among others Engineers, starting phase Rs. 40,000/- to 1 Lakh per month in India and 2 Lakh per month Abroad.
Institute Of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering - Gorakhpur (IAME) has its own 1 Learjet 25B Aircraft and 1 Cessna 152 Aircraft in Campus for Training purpose. IAME - Gorakhpur has highly qualified & experienced faculty as per DGCA norms from Civil Aviation and Indian Airforce. IAME - Gorakhpur has different Workshops & well equipped Avionics & Mechanical Labs as per DGCA norms. Multiple type of Jet Engine and Piston Engine labs.
